At the regional platform of “green solutions” we clamp down truckers. After all, it is known that from mobile sources in the atmosphere of cities gets 10-20% of emissions that pollute the air.
I am Viktor Sergieiev, as the project manager of „Green Solutions” for business – Unity for Sustainable Development” on June, 10 visited the regional exhibition of achievements of passenger transport. At the festival mooring, located on the city quay, there were presented 24 of almost all regional basic carriers. They really work on intra-city, long-distance, and even international routes. It is a transport of various degrees of comfort, safety and environmental friendliness. Among them there were those that have already been transferred to gas, and to the standards of Euro-5 and Euro-6.
Honestly speaking, I did not see hybrids with electric motors, but I learned that carriers are already working on this topic; they promised and have already submitted proposals to the Regional Council.
The carriers are ready to upgrade the technique, improve the quality of passenger service, but their right intentions need support from the regional authorities.
We will think about it and speak on the regional platform of “green solutions”.
And Mykhailo Tonkonohyi, the Chairman of the so-called “Dnipropetrovsk independent trade union organization of carriers, entrepreneurs and employees of enterprises” organized the exhibition.
So the exhibition succeeded, and contact with carriers on the regional platform of “green solutions” was successful.
