On 13th of October, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) launched the EUREM pilot course for energy managers in Kyiv. The UCCI presented it during the International Conference on “Implementing the EUREM Training Programme and Creating a Network of European Energy Managers in Ukraine”. The course consists of practice-oriented training within the companies and finishes with a unique practical project of each participant.
The implementation of the EUREM in Ukraine is based on an agreement between the EUREM Consortium and the UCCI and is supported by the German-Ukrainian Chambers and Associations Partnership Project (KVP Ukraine) and GIZ. The objective of the Training Programme is to push the implementation of multiple energy efficiency measures, which will serve afterwards as a preparation for the introduction of energy management in companies. The pilot course will be carried out until February 18, 2018 and the elaboration of a practical project – up to March/April 2018.
The EUREM is a standardised internationally applicable training programme and an effective network of already more than 5 000 energy managers, about 850 trainers and 60 training providers worldwide. During its 18 years of existence, the EUREM has been already implemented in 27 countries.
